My name is Leon Huang, and a hobbyist turned professional photographer. I started out with a Canon Powershot and eventually progressed to DSLR (digital SLR) cameras. The interest in photography continues to be strong, and eventually I decided to take on paid assignments and worked towards making it my full-time job.
I started Appleture.com with the main aim of helping new photographers pick up the hobby. I have several friends who bought their first DSLR, and are simply overwhelmed by the technical aspects of photography. Sharing my knowledge to them hands-on helped them some, but I believe having online guides and tips can be even easier to follow at the comfort of their own home. I am certainly not a master, but I still hope it’ll be helpful to netizens like you as well!
